St. Anthony’s Food Pantry
St. Anthony’s food pantry distributes fresh produce and dry goods every Thursday at noon. Today they serve an average of 40 families each week and the need is growing.
Last year over 5,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, bread, cereals, rice, pasta and much more was provided for our area with very little overhead.
It is our own parishioners that make the food pantry work on a weekly basis with their valuable time, talent and treasure. They also work in conjunction with occasional donations from Catholic Charities St. Lucy Project, CRS Rice Bowl and the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank. Volunteers and donations, monetary or goods, are always appreciated.
